From the top: remains of yesterday's snow in my mint, a redbud branch (not too many buds this year due to the summer of aphids raining sap down on everything), honeysuckle coming back strong after the drought, eve's necklace beginning to leaf out
Pineapple sage which didn't die after all, curly parsley (all the parley's looking so big and healthy right now), one of several broccoli plants, shallots (when should I harvest??), my garden "helper" watching over the onions

Hey! Another beet lover! :)) Good to see so many happy seedlings in your garden. I'm afraid we're still months away from such joy.
Yep, beets rock. I always think of winter gardening here as the gift to make up for the fact that vegetables don't really produce once the summer heat sets in.
Oh, the best view of the season are buds beginning to break :^)
I agree! Not only does it signify spring, but it's so reassuring when you see that most things survived the winter after all.
