Bees in the artichokes
Left town for a few days and came back to a mass of honey-sweet artichoke blooms keeping the bees busy. Seems a bit of a job getting in there for a bee, though.

The bee battle picture is incredible! Your artichoke is beautiful in bloom. It does look like a piece of art. I'm trying to hold back on picking all the blooms off of my artichoke and saving some for the bees. Love those delicate borage blooms.
