The scent when you walk past or stand beneath a huisache tree right now is heavenly. Lucky to have so many on my morning dog walk at Shoal Creek.

I haven't seen one in bloom yet personally but many are posting that this is one of the best bloom seasons they've seen. Looks spectacular...I might need to get down to Shoal Creek!
Definitely worth a stroll, esp. with all the baby blue eyes and spiderwort going crazy along the trail.
